Welcome to Ghibli Style. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Ghibli Style website (ghiblistyle.co), applications, and services (collectively, the "Service"), operated by Ghibli Style ("we," "us," or "our").
By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the Terms, you may not access the Service.
Ghibli Style provides an AI-powered image transformation service that converts user-uploaded photos into artwork inspired by Studio Ghibli's aesthetic. Our Service offers a Free plan, one-time credit packs, and Pro and Premium subscriptions, each with different features and limitations as described on our pricing page.
To access certain features of the Service, you must sign in with your Google account. We do not create or store a password for you. You agree that the information associated with your account is accurate and current.
You are responsible for keeping your Google account secure and for all activities that occur under your account. You must immediately notify us of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security.
You retain all rights to the images you upload to our Service ("User Content"). By uploading content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, and process your User Content solely for the purpose of providing and improving our Service.
You agree not to upload User Content that:
We reserve the right to remove any User Content that violates these Terms or that we find objectionable for any reason, without prior notice.
New accounts receive a small number of free credits (currently one image transformation), as shown on our pricing page.
Our Pro and Premium plans are monthly subscriptions. Each billing period includes the number of credits shown on our pricing page, and one credit is used for each image transformation. Credits are valid for the billing period in which they are granted (plus a one-day grace period) and do not roll over. Paid plans also include the additional benefits described on our pricing page.
By making a purchase, you agree to pay all fees in accordance with the billing terms in effect at the time of your purchase. You must provide us with accurate and complete billing information.
Paid subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from "Manage subscription" on your My Orders page, where you can also update your payment method and download invoices, or by emailing us at jasonkui0217@gmail.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you can keep using your remaining credits until then.
All purchases are final. Because credits are delivered to your account immediately after payment, we do not offer refunds once a purchase has been completed, except where required by applicable law. If an image generation fails, the credit used for it is returned to your account automatically. If you believe you were charged in error (for example, a duplicate charge), contact us within 30 days and we will investigate.
One-time credit packs are single payments and do not renew. Each pack adds the number of credits shown on our pricing page to your account; one credit is used for each image transformation. Credits from a pack are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase, after which any unused credits expire. The refund terms in Section 5.5 apply to credit packs.
The Service and its original content (excluding User Content), features, and functionality are owned by Ghibli Style and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
You own the rights to the transformed images generated using our Service, subject to the following conditions:
Ghibli Style is an independent service. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Studio Ghibli. References to a "Ghibli style" describe an artistic aesthetic only. You are responsible for making sure your use of generated images does not infringe the rights of others.
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:
Images you upload are processed by third-party AI providers to create your results. Generated images are hosted by those providers for a limited time (currently about 72 hours). Please download any image you want to keep.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ghibli Style shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the Service.
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that results obtained from using the Service will be accurate or reliable.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Ghibli Style and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or your violation of these Terms.
We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including breach of these Terms.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. All provisions of the Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive.
We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect.
By continuing to access or use our Service after any revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Before filing any claim, you agree to contact us at jasonkui0217@gmail.com and try to resolve the dispute informally for at least 30 days. Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms that is not resolved informally shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in the State of Delaware, and you and we consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts. Nothing in this section prevents either party from bringing an eligible claim in small claims court.
Images generated under the Free plan may only be used for personal, non-commercial purposes.
Images generated under the Pro plan may only be used for personal, non-commercial purposes.
Images generated under the Premium plan may be used for commercial purposes as specified in the plan details, including marketing, product sales, and professional creative work.
Images generated with credits from one-time credit packs may only be used for personal, non-commercial purposes.
We strive to provide high-quality transformations, but results may vary depending on the input image quality, content, and selected style. We do not guarantee specific artistic outcomes.
